Name Your Images
Posted on 07:30 by Unknown
SEO or Search Engine Optimization is an ongoing struggle with companies from any industry. Landing on the first results page is key in driving more traffic and thus increasing sales. Another easy DIY SEO trick is to name your images with keywords. If you are writing about social media, and you intend to include a picture, make sure social media, as keywords, are apart of the image title. If you are writing about a different industry, or just adding an image for design purposes, keywords in the image name as well as description will help boost your SEO.

Encourage Feedback
Posted on 07:44 by Unknown
Good or bad, feedback is also a vital component to any social media campaign. Encourage your followers or fans to leave their feedback as much as possible. Obviously, you will want to manage the negative feedback from being viewed on your sites, so keep your eyes open. Negative feedback can be viewed as positive feedback in that you may not know something has gone awry, and having it brought to your attention will allow you to effectively change it in a timely manner.

Keyword Rich Titles
Posted on 07:15 by Unknown
When creating any sort of content, make sure the title has keywords in it. SEO optimization goes further than just the article content or website content. The title of any post or article plays an important role in search engines locating it. Including as many keywords about what you're writing will help rank your post higher in the results page. Also including a word that is apparent in the body of the article numerous times will help create that as a keyword for others to search.

Quality over Quantity
Posted on 07:05 by Unknown
Provide your reader with quality content instead of a bunch of nonsense. If you get into the habit of quickly creating content that does not offer any true value to the reader, over time you will have no readers. People want to engage and be intrigued by the content you post. Spamming social media networks will eventually piss people off, causing them to defriend or unfollow you. Make sure you supply enough information to keep the reader coming back for great quality content time and time again.
Take this site for example. Without fail, we provide two social media tips for our readers per week. Whether you have already seen these tips or not, quality information is always appreciated over irrelevant spam.

Twitter is a Gateway
Posted on 08:30 by Unknown
When deciding on a social media campaign, Twitter should never be used as a stand alone method of marketing a company's products or services. Twitter is a great platform to interact with consumers and increase brand awareness. Social media marketing campaigns should integrate Twitter as a gateway; an outlet for the vast community using Twitter to receive relevant information about your industry and links to your website(s).
